Theta engaged EAK Digital’s expert services to help raise awareness of its blockchain-based video content delivery network and decentralised video platform, THETA.tv. The project had reached a stage in its development where it needed to attract major press and publicity in an effort to drive users and user engagement to THETA.tv. The project also had some huge announcements and news about partnerships it had made that it wanted to share.

Solution

Working closely with Theta’s global team EAK Digital developed a media and publicity plan to promote Theta’s work and THETA.tv’s growth. Working with the team daily we brainstormed ideas and opportunities before presenting these to Theta’s CEO who gave them the go-ahead. We then worked with our network of reporters and editors at media outlets globally, as well as prominent influencers and key opinion leaders, to promote and pitch the project.

Result

EAK Digital achieved strong results for Theta, landing articles in a range of top cryptocurrency publications, including Coindesk and Cointelegraph. The expertise of the EAK Digital PR team also helped secure theTheta executive team interviews and airtime with Forbes, podcaster Anthony Pompliano, Youtuber Crypto Crow, and Blockspeak, plus many more, and allowed us to recruit a number of prominent Youtubers, who have a combined subscriber count of more than 550,000, to promote THETA.tv’s launch of its video-on-demand (VOD) service.
